Hey Bueller! Hey Buddy! What's the holdup?
Quote:Mueller prosecutors still not ready to see Flynn sentenced

“Due to the status of the special counsel’s investigation, the parties do not believe that this matter is ready to be scheduled for a sentencing hearing at this time,” prosecutors and defense attorneys wrote in a one-page report filed on Friday with U.S. District Court Judge Emmet Sullivan.

The delay suggests that Flynn is still actively cooperating with Mueller’s office, that prosecutors believe his testimony could be useful at some future trial, or that the sentencing process might disclose some aspect of the investigation that Mueller still wishes to keep secret.

https://www.politico.com/story/2018/06/2...ynn-688035

Which of these reasons is most likely?

1) That Flynn is still actively cooperating with Bueller's office

2) That prosecutors believe his testimony could be useful at some future trial

3) Sentencing process might disclose some aspect of the investigation that Bueller still wishes to keep secret

Decisions decisions, which could it be?

Reminds me of going fishing. You get a few bites and even catch a few, but they are too small. So determined to not leave the lake without some nice fish, you just stay way longer than you had intended and keep throwing out that lure, in hopes you will land a big one, when in reality you know the day on the lake is a bust.

Yep, the story of us fishermen. We're all alike. I don't know who's dumber, us or the fish? LOL

I think it at least possible also that they have some loose connections (we've seen dozens of them) that if they can find a smoking gun, would lead to something meaningful, but without the gun... it's literally nothing... so they can't let him go, nor can they complete their deal... until they know if there is a gun somewhere.

Then I think we can safely assume at this point that there's no there there nor smoking gun there. There may be this there though.

It’s the sort of thing of which Donald Rumsfeld might say, “We don’t know what we don’t know.” And that would be true, so far as it goes.

But still, there are some things that we do know. Among them, we know that since May 2016 (at the latest), every anti-Trump person in US media, politics, government or business (aided by quite a few non-US individuals, as well) has been on a mission to find and publicize every scrap, every morsel of information that could possibly be used to destroy Trump, or at least to damage him.

We’re now into the third year of this Holy Quest, and what have our warriors brought back from the Crusades? The Billy Bush tape and Stormy Daniels. And I guess they've destroyed Paul Manafort’s career as a lobbyist/fixer in the Swamp. He sorta-kinda had it coming, really. But if he was an I'm With Her type of guy, they would’ve left him alone.
