I think at the end of the season we're gonna look back and say Tech was criminally underrated in the Pre-Season All C-USA selections.

Like every fan of every school, I believe Marshall is undersold. I don't disagree on first team selections, 5 seems about right, but the second and third team selections seem pretty light given the number of productive starters we have returning, especially on defense and especially at LB. Plus you have guys like Jordan Dowery at guard who is a 4 year starter and pretty dang good.

11 seems too many for ODU. I can see OX, COX and FOX and may be Sean and Jon too. Nick is solid in an otherwise Piece of chit OL corps. Harper is a hit or a miss and rest are meh.

It's crazy how far we have fallen under this leadship. We used to have the best oline. Now nota single honorable mention.

J'mar is the 3rd best QB in our league? Tech may have a good team this year, but it won't be because of him.

I think we should have 11 all-Conference teams

Safety Reed Blankenship is probably as good as All Pro Kevin Byard at similar points in their developments. He will be a 2nd teamer at a minimum. If Brent plays the whole season he's first team (easily) and probably MVP/POY if we win enough games. Big if though.

And our coaches had him rated higher than the kid that may start for you'll some this year and I think will be a pretty good QB...

I agree - J'Mar has the arm but is still working on game management and this ranking may be too high for him but we are loaded at the WR position

Agreed. IMO, USM got a really good QB transfer in former Tech backup QB Jack Abraham. As you know, Abraham was J'Mar's backup at Tech, but IMO, Holtz just didn't give Abraham a fair shake. So Abraham transferred out. I just hope Abraham doesn't come back to haunt us.
