Intriguing prospect. Superior athlete. An early signee with Santa Clara when he already had an offer from Arizona State and (according to NERR) interest from Ole Miss, Georgetown and others.
Didn't have much of a freshman year at SC on a team that was desperate for bench help.
He had some twenty minute games and some two minute ones....but there were extenuating circumstances. His father passed away and he had some sort of illness during the year. Some feeling among SC fans that he looked a little lost on the court but that sitting out a year was just what he needed to thrive. Looking forward to seeing him after a year of NU coaching.

Yeah SC fans think he’ll flourish for us with a year to work more on his skills.
He could be the ideal small forward we’ve desperately needed for a while. I really like the way he takes it to the paint when he sees the chance. Very nice shooting stroke too.
Now we have to find a big man to go with him, Murphy, Roland, Occeus, Brace, Myles Franklin and Max in 2019-2020.

If we could pull in a big I would be a happy fan. We don't need him for this year but that works out okay because what good big freshman is going to sign with us with what we have coming back? Another transfer with at least two years or a freshman who knows he needs a year to learn would be ideal.
