I wonder if we will again have a class that is composed of about 50% out-of-state players. Will we place less emphasis on certain favorite recruiting spots from the past, such as the Space Coast?

I am concerned about this as well. It seems as if we heavily recruit more locally instead of statewide. We need to recruit outside the region and outside the state more. In Southwest Florida, which argueably has some of the best high school talent in the state, USF and Miami heavily recruit here. Maybe UCF should look into this area more, as well as others. Certainly they can get some top talent from anywhere if theyre promising them some playtime, which Im sure UCF has plenty of open spots for them.

A lot of prospects on rivals are from Georgia, Alabama, and Louisiana. I think we'll recruit heavily in the Southeast, with a few players from other regions. Probably some Canadians, and maybe some guys from Ohio or something cuz some of our coaches coached in Ohio. I hope we got some three star recruits at least.

UCF signed some decent prospects from the Atlanta area during Mike Kruczek's tenure. With former LSU assistant Lance Thompson on the coaching staff, we should lure more players from Louisiana (we signed two Louisiana kids in the last class).
