Bet it sets all kinds of records for spending.

Strategically, its a good move for the Republicans. Make the Democrats devote a lot of resources to that Senate race. There will be less to go around on House races.

Full court press from the hogg & co. coming. Wrong race to run at the wrong time. No way Scott will overcome that onslaught.

Scott is a rare 'recruiting win' for the GOP. He still will probably lose. But this and SD are about the only decent recruiting wins in the Senate field for them.
