Read that Bernadeco is transferring

For those like me who have no idea who this person is: JR guard on the women's basketball team from overseas. Would have been a senior next year. It looks like she played 1 minute in 1 game last year, unless I'm mistaken. Someone who follows the program more closely will have to chime in

Thought she had a good freshman season. Think she started like 17 games that year 2 years ago and had like 8 games where she had 5+ assists and less turnovers

She was recruited as a point guard and I don't know I saw flashes here and there of good court vision when she was given the chance. Her mom in Portugal coached one of our players from back in the day mery Andrade who was the heart and soul and good at defense back in the day. This year she was injured so obviously she really couldn't play but she would be a senior next year

She averaged 2.1 assists her freshman year and 1.9 turnovers.

Honestly, I never saw her play, but she came by our tailgate one time promoting the women's program. She was very nice, easy to talk to, and represented the team well. Good luck to her.

Grad transfer to UNCW?

Good luck to her. She really had no future here moving forward. If she wanted to play, she’s a lot better off going somewhere else. This likely opens a scholarship for someone who will fit better into Coach Nikki’s system.
