Lomax will probably be the backup point next year...will take him some time to adjust to the D1 game. Folks assume he will play 30+ at the point...Martin will still play a lot of point IMO.

Martin/Brewton/Davenport/Thorton/Parks is probably your starting 5...with a heavy dose of Lomax. Have to have some patience with A-Lo....will be a true freshman learning the college game. Enoh should log some good minutes too. Of course some more roster shakeup is coming.

With Johnson leaving I hope one of those other guys can consistently hit an outside shot.

We need a shooter badly and Lomax doesn't fit that bill.

I read this on twitter last night and I replied to him "Go Big Blue. Time to wear Tiger stripes" and he liked it. Hope that's a good thing!

It did seem obvious but with the BTFS there is always some doubt,

I am guessing he was originally planning on announcing and signing on the same day. However, after the departures of Nickleberry and Johnson it appears Penny had him go ahead and commit this morning to change the tide of bad news. Penny appears to be very PR savvy...

This is great news. I think Lomax will be a great 4 year player for Memphis!

Agreed as well. Just a thought but I'd bet Crabtree doesn't say anything until signing day and then signs with us. Maybe I wrong.
