Can you explain Army's missing presence on the Bottom 10 ... didn't they have quite a run of consecutive weeks of being considered the worst team in the country untill they played a certian Ohio team.

How do you figure.....
You really think that BE would trade VA TECH, Miami and BC for I-AAs USF & UConn and Cincy and Louisville you are outta your mind.
Have you already forgotten
Army 48
Cincy 29
Miner & Heard
It Wasn't a trade, Miami and Va Tech left for better things in Acc Land, anyways the NBE will focus more of hoops then football, because it will be the best in history with
UCONN, PITT, SYRACUSE, CINCY, MARQUETTE, DEPAUL, ND, and More. in Football the good teams are the Mounties, Loserville. Rutgers is improving. The only bad teams are Cuse and UC, but that will change.
Army was in the past, you can't win em all, if you play UCF, you would be embarrsed if you lost, they now have the nations longest losing streak.
Focus on the Mac, and the NCUSA, The NCUSA is worser off then the NBE Now,

A few (read, one or two) teams in the BE deserve the BcS slot. Nothing Cincy has ever done will convince me they 'deserve' it. Just further proof of the ridiculous notion of this system.

Cindy will be "exhibit #1" when the non-BCS'ers present their case in the lawsuit.

Excalibur has to be commiting suicide somewhere, knowing UCF is #1 and Rices hasn't been anywhere near the bottom 10 :D
UTEP may have started in the bottom 10 but it's not where you start the race that matters but where you finish. UTEP went to California and beat Fresno State. Rice went to California and lost to San Jose State. Enough said.

HerdZone,
Your Wrong, What I actually ment, was before Rutgers, hired their present coach. When the old one was there they were a bottom feeder, and I think they only avg like 2 wins or so. No wsince their current coach has been there, the win total has increased.

Do you intentionally try to piss people off, or do you just come off that way?
Rice has had a pretty decent season thus far, and I'm glad we're not playing them this year. Any team that can go into Hawaii and trounce the thug warriors deserves props.

What team of importance has Rutgers beaten this year? The MSU win doesnt look as good each week because they arent a great team. They lost to a freakin Division 1AA team. Dont feed us this bull**** that they are improving. However much they improved they just regressed after that loss.

He can't help it.
But I don't blame him, weren't we all primetime douchebags when we were 15?

I seriously try to look at this new conference in the best possible light and I like being in a southern-based conference, but this is embarrassing. There is no way that you can sugar coat how bad this conference now looks.

U have a couple of teams in total rebuild mold right now... that wont last long... UCF completely blew up in Kruz's last year as coach.. House clearing started last year and has continued under Oleary. It will take a couple more recruiting classes but all will be fine in orlando soon. We consistantly had winning seasons with a coaching staff and facilitys not even close to what we have now.

One rule for the Bottom 10 is if you win a game, you're off the list for at least a week. So, unfortunately, Army and ECU may find themselves back on the list in seven days.

HerdZoned Wrote:All it takes is 2 out of 3 losses to be put on the waiting list and Rice as those 2 out of 3 losses coming up in the next month with Navy and Fresno State. If Nevada or Tulsa happens to sneak up on them then they hit Rock bottom.
Navy hangs 35-40 on them with the Wishbone, FS will be back by the time Rice plays them and understand what has to be done and puts 45 on them.
looking at the preseason poll, it looks like the upper win cutoff for bottom 10 status is 3. One more win might keep us off the list for this year (though we do have those mondo bonus points for the SJSU thing). Of course, the way the schedule is lined up we have the potential to go 0-6 or 6-0 or anything in between.
i'm guessing the navy offense will not be too much of a surprise; we practice against the triple option every single day. they hung 38 on us last year (though 38 would not have been enough to beat us in 3 of our 5 games this year). and if we don't get some cornerbacks healthy, we'll be lucky if fsu stops at 45.
it should be interesting - usually we fold early in the year and come on strong at the end. we'll see if the reverse is true last year.

Normally, I don't correct grammer, but come on. Your whole argument was destroyed by that one statement. While I am here, it is "than" not "then" in this context.
