I expect the game to be payed tonight in Ruston despite 5+ inches of rain in last 24 hours. The main perk of field turf! Now as for the series it is important to get this game tonight. I am very nervous about the FIU offense and our often times stagnant offense.

The weather in Hattiesburg is almost perfect for the weekend but maybe a tad on the nippy side Friday night. Highs are mid to upper 70s all 3 days with minimal to no chance of rain in the forecast. It feels like this is the first home weekend series we will have had out of 5 (5 counts this weekend vs Rice) where there is no rain/precipitation.

Actually I think I saw that we did that like the 4th inning.. Our only runner at 2nd who got there by stealing, wanted 3rd as well a couple pitches later but Tops caught him and that ended the inning.
