@JonRothstein
Pitt has offered Dan Hurley a multi-year deal in excess of $3 million dollars annually to be its next head basketball coach, per multiple sources. UConn and URI still in play.

Cartel school with Cartel $. Tough to compete.

Pitt offered over 3mil. That’s a lot of hamburgers
I think we offered around 2 mil

Yeah but I bet Pitt comes with a sweet vacuum cleaner.

I think he definitely goes to UConn one of the reasons is if he does he doesn't have to move or sell his house

It will be Herculean (Hurlean?) task to turn UConn around.

Way worse at Pitt. Not super familiar with UCONN's sanctions though.

I think he ends up at UCONN. At Pitt, he starts from scratch. There's talent at UCONN, it's a better program than URI and Pitt, but if it's about the $$$ then I could see Pitt. Short sighted though as ultimately it will be much harder to succeed there.

Anyway with any luck this is just Hurley's agent trying to get more money out of UConn.

Money doesn't buy happiness but losing sure can buy a lot of sadness, which is what he'll have at Pitt.

Not for me. My garage pass is free.

SMU gets “reseat.”

You will get “repark.”

Hopefully it all works out ok for you guys.

As a Bucs fan I had to deal with Bill Parcells leaving us at the alter - twice. And it was damn aggravating.

He maybe to green for UConn. Hopefully he or Dooley will end up at ECU.

Pitt offers 3 million plus a year. Sounds like UConn is being outbid by Pitt.
