To be so slight of build , Penny was a powerful dunker...he took pity on nobody in front of him or the rim lol.

I dont need to see it. I got to see him dunk up close and personal. His freshman year, he had to sit out due to prop 48. He played intermural ball, and posterized me! Mfin ref didnt give me a call either!!! But my kids love that I got dunked on by Penny!

Hey! No reason to be ashamed....I wish Penny had dunked on me but I didn't get in the game...But I saw from the bench that him and Chuck were nothing to play with...Chuck "EP" dunked on our center and the place went wild...We were @ Tredwell...I was a football player and HAD extreme hops as well and loved to play defense, just NOT against little quick arse guards..

FTR... I think Penny has successfully dunked over the MOST 7'< players than ANYONE in history. I'll try to name the one's I remember here:

Shawn Bradley @least 5x's
Patrick Ewing
Robert Parish
George Muresan
Luc Longley
Rik Smits

The dunk against SW La. down there was pretty awesome, too. He was thrown outlet pass and he let it bounce about 9 feet high off the floor, grabbed it and dunked.

The breakaway dunk to beat the Bulls was one of my all time favorites. I was probably 11-12 years old and remember watching it live.

That was an awesome trip down memory lane. I remember the student section being right behind the visitor bench and Bob Huggins screaming at the student section because we were all taunting him.

They interrupted a game on ESPN to show that dunk against SW Louisiana State—someone gave it respect. Madlock just heaved it blindly up the court. Penny was the best in-game, in-traffic dunker I’ve ever seen. That dunk was my favorite of his, too.

Billy Smith was a great athlete and finisher at the rim.

It seemed like Hardaway and Smith hooked up on an alley-oop highlight in every single game.
