Ground ball to Proctor.
Error allows the runner first base.

Ground out to third. 7th inning over.

Let it be said about this game that the 7th inning is when the wheels really came off for the Owls.
Just sayin’

RE: 3-17-18. LaTech game 2
View of the game from my armchair...
-Owl relief pitching failure. Handed the ball to Amador with a 2 run lead. Then handed it to Kravetz with a 3 run deficit.
-Pulling Jefferies was a bit of a head scratcher. He was working hard and looked pretty good. I guess Coach saw something I didn’t.
- LaTech POUNDS the ball. Double digit hits in game 1 and game 2. Despite losing just about everybody from last year, they’ve put together a pretty good team. Good pitching, too.
-Our situational hitting woes continue

You're very welcome.
I was waiting for Mike to chime in, but he must be having an extended West Coast lunch.
Plus I'm mobility challenged, presently, as I broke my ankle last week. So, my life for the next few days involves TV, Owl athletics and a good book or two.

A nephew is visiting from SETexas. Was showing him around historic New Almaden & Mt. Umunhum.

He's also a basketball fan, so March Madness hospitality, too.

Hope our guys can salvage this afternoon's third game in Ruston. I'll check in occasionally.

Thanks for your reports and commentary, greyowl72.

Yay Owls!!
