Uh, guys... Cincinnati still in that bracket as the 2 seed. Gonna be really, really hard for UT or Kentucky to get past them.

Cal lickin his chops to play an AAC school for right to go to Final Four. This reminds me of the yr he got to play Bucknell and Bradley because they upset Ark and Pitt.

That would be sweet. He can find his dream job.
He already has his dream job. Cal will retire at UK. He wouldn't have left Memphis for any other job.
Have y'all hired a coach yet?

Cal would still be at Memphis if not for the Derrick Rose situation. Memphis was a better job than Kentucky at the time.

LOL! Cal would have left for NC, Duke, UCLA, Notre Dame, and probably Florida, Syracuse, Kansas, and a few more too.

A 12 - 13 -16 -11 seed path would easily have to be the lowest average seed pah into the Final Four.

RE: Cal's walk into final four just got paved
In 2006 we got one break...playing Bradley in the Sweet 16. All those other years we did not get a break. Ever in recent history.
2014 2d round played 1 Virginia. No UMBC that year
2013 2d round played 3 Michigan State. No 14-3 upset that year.
2009 were a 2 seed and not sure either 10 or 7 seed in the second round is. A big difference although I think MD was the ten seed. Not a big break. MO was the 3 seed. No 6, no 11 but of course the 3
2008, 3D round played Michigan State which was the 4 or 5, no break, played 2 Texas, no break, played 1 UCLA no break, played 1 Kansas no break
2007 Again 2 seed so not really a factor until sweet 16 and got 3 A and M. No break. Then 1 Ohio State which almost lost to UTLofton but of course did not
2006 got one break with Bradley, which I believe was a 12 or 13 seed. Then UCLA instead of Gonzaga, no break
2004 2d round was 2 OK State. No 15-2 upset that year.

You don't know Cal very well but keep believing Cal's lies.
And yes we've hired our coach, just waiting to announce it's Penny so he can seal the deal with Wiseman to Memphis.
Cal will leave UK quicker than you guys can say Eric Manuel.

Im torn... Cal once said the “best job was an NBA job where the franchise was committed to winning”. So theres always the chance he jumps... but as a whole, id say he has under achieved at KY. I suspect many (Gary parrish) thought he would have won several championships there.

The NBA is a much easier job but you are also not in complete control of your roster like you are in college
