The Owls are putting the wood on the ball... deep into OF. Sharp line drives. Each contact we make... right to the defense.
Only hit an IF dribbler that was bobbled by the LaTech catcher.

T3:

LF warning track flyout
6-3 bouncer up the middle
High popup F6 to shallow LF line.

The LaTech video feed's centerfield camera is places quite a bit LEFT of the pitcher, rather than the usual right side of center. I don't think I've ever seen a broadcast from that angle.

Agree ..makes it impossible to judge balls and strikes for the viewer. Still, the picture quality is pretty good.

Two bad outings in a row for Canterino. I wonder if he's playing injured or something.

Lucky to only give up 1 run in B3.
3-0 now.

And it's not as if LaTech has a lot of power. Just 10 HRs entering tonight's game.

La Tech offense is relentless.
8 hits, so far. Men on 1st and second. 2 out.

That has pretty much been the story all season long. I've never seen a team hit more line shot outs than this team has done over the first month of the season.

Pop fly to short center ... too deep for Cruz and just shallow enough that Chandler's dive for it was inches short. Grrr. Running with two outs, two LaTech runners score.

Ruston is not in French Louisiana, of course. The LaTech announcer pronounces Sarchet as it's spelled: Sahr-chett (not Sahr-shay).

Gneiting legs out a one-out double on a ball hit into left-center.
