RE: Go Bulls!
The MAC is always underrated. If the MAC clubs had more chances to play P5 teams at home or on neutral courts they would win a fair share imo. Toledo was really good this year, gave UB tough games for sure.

Can't wait for the day again when the MAC gets two in the NCAA's.

The MAC needs the 'credits' it earns for winning in the NCAAs.

I think the conference gets 'one credit' for each game a team plays. So normally the MAC gets one credit for their one game. This year the MAC plays (at least) two games.

I agree this is a good year to upset KY. I watched their game with Davidson.

How does the MAC distribute their credits?

Awesome win, great job Bulls!

What I really liked is that this wasn't your basic March Madness "Cinderella story", where an underdog hangs around, gains confidence, and miraculously pulls it out at the end. This was dominance - if you didn't know anything about either team, watching the game you'd think Buffalo was the #3 seed.

I know Oats just signed an extension, but you have to wonder how long he's gonna stick around in the MAC. Congrats Bulls, hopefully that's the last time we see Sean Miller on the sidelines.

Unless UB goes really deep, Oats will be around next year. His buyout is 1.5million and that will scare away all but the most blue blooded of teams.

If we do this again next year, then we might be in trouble.

Don't know but here is a Tweet indicating the amount of each credit (game played):

Threes (UB, their only hope) vs. the (KY) Trees...

Syracuse is the longest NCAA team; EMU is second.

and Kentucky????

In the end UK always hit a shot when they needed it.

Still a great season for the Bulls.

I don't think that was the story... we had the ball down five with 5 left... Our 3s, even the open ones, were not falling tonight. That was the difference.

Treys are almost always the story when David beat Goliath (or fails to do so).

Treys beat 'Zona but weren't there to beat Kentucky.

UK played quite well last night. They played like a title contender.

They were up 20-11 on Buffalo so the pressure was there from the start.

For UB to pull within 5 late in the second half showed a lot of poise without playing their best was impressive.
