Conf USA Signs 5-Year TV Deal with CBS Sports Network
Conference USA yesterday signed a 5-year television deal with the CBS Sports Network televise basketball and football games weekly. So we'll all have to get used to seeing ODU on national tv.
The CAA? Still, apparently, in the toilet!

Or not see them. CBS is the least stream-friendly network. The CAA is not in a position to turn down any kind of national broadcasting deal, but I'd take NBC over CBS 10 out of 10 times.

Our basketball is better than C-USA, imo, but our football is limited by FCS cost controls to be below C-USA.
If I'm not mistaken, FB gets more viewers than BB during the regular season. I further assume that FB probably pulled BB along with it in the CBS deal that the C-USA received.
The trick for the CAA is to get a deal where BB brings along FCS FB. That is not impossible, but many, many fans judge an institutions athletics based upon the state of the FB program. It is an impediment, but not an insurmountable problem.
I'm glad they got something, not jealous of it. Now it is time for the CAA to get a better deal.
