He's been in the hospital for a few days now. I haven't seen a cause of death yet.

there was a YouTube a few years back where someone recorded Augie giving a world class @ss chewing to the team in the locker room after a loss. I've been involved in athletics all my life and have seen and heard a lot of coaches ream their players out, me included, but I've NEVER seen a tirade like what Augie mustered that day.
It was truly worthy of some sort of Academy Award............Best Performance by a Pissed Off Baseball Coach, or some such.
