I would imagine that Liberty and ECU will be picked up by someone. So all of ODU's football games will be on TV somewhere. I think this is good news.
Liberty I'm sure is producing it for their own network and will shop it to MASN/regional syndication. If nothing else, it'll probably land on ESPN3.

All AAC games are put somewhere in ESPN portfolio, even if it is ESPN3. (CBS Sports Net announced their selections already)
ESPN+ will have a new subscriber in August and Sidearm/cusa.tv will not get another penny

Yeah but a lot of the espn 3 and + stuff will be the same Cusa.tv broadcasts. The schools will still be producing it, they may have a better platform...but the base product isn't changing. Some schools are way better at it than others. ODU isn't bad actually, and they're trying to get better. Problem is they can only produce home games you have to rely on others for road games, and some, you can tell, just don't care.

True. At least with ESPN3 and ESPN+ you will have a less expensive streaming cost and a better interface. Also, it works on all the streaming devices (Apple TV, Amazon, Roku) without having to do some manner of voodoo.
Edited since I can't type for crap today.

More affordable and more user friendly. A step in the right direction.

Is it free if you are already a cable subscriber?

To my understanding, no. It is a stand-alone service.

Right. It's $5 a month or $50 a year regardless of whether you subscribe to ESPN.
