Tennessean tweeted that Darrin Horn (yes, that Darrin Horn) could be a candidate.

I believe his name came up last time Kermit was a candidate for another job.

I'm not morally opposed to him being on the list and depending on who else is on the list, I wouldn't be opposed to hiring him.

If Pitino can go from Kentucky to Louisville in ~4 years, we can hire Horn after ~11.

Not sure how this comment will be taken here, but it's a serious question.

What about Tubby Smith? He's said he wants to stay in coaching. Not sure how much MT is willing to pay, but Memphis is on the hook for his buyout so he won't be hurting money-wise. He's not much of a recruiter but a good floor coach. Just a thought.

Maybe Wood Selig could follow him there. He was in the top 3 nepotism candidates in our search. There is always Dennis Felton too.

I'm not a Tubby fan either. He's seen better days imho. Was just curious.

Nice try fellas. But the correct answer would be:

What Would Bo Schembechler Do? For 500 Alex.

The question I’m asking is why the hell ain’t he GONE? Massaro with no balls. Bo Schembechler was around back when men were men. And in his mind Michigan Men were Michigan Men. He sent Frieder’s assss packing!!!

Because both men have honor and class. Something maybe y'all can take a few notes on and perhaps even learn up there in Bowling Green.

Win Case? Yeah, he's who a lot of us want myself included. Make him a major offer and hopefully draw him in as a HC. Massaro had better talk to him first before anybody else. He has been a HC before and was really, really good at it. I think he'd be great especially with his system being pretty much Kermit's.

Didn’t read your puff piece. I don’t see how keeping him on brings honor and class to the situation at all. More like win at any cost even if it means you’re on your knees begging. I just remember when Bo Schembechler sent Frieder’s asssss packing. He was no longer the Meeesheeegan coach. Bo told him to not let the door hit him in the ass on the way out.

I also remember all ya’ll telling the board the last 3 years that Kermit would never leave. Cough cough.

Edit: btw. I don’t blame Kermit a bit. He looked around at everything he was losing and knew next year was gonna be rough. They threw enough money at him he’ll be set just from the contract. Doesn’t matter win or lose. SEC pays a lot of coaches not to coach.

RE: FWIW Kermit to Ole Miss
I just figured if he wouldn't leave for State he damn sure wouldn't go to Ole Miss. I thought there were a handful of jobs (in the $4 million range he simply couldn't say no to), but Ole Miss wasn't one of them even though all his family is there.

And I honestly do believe on Saturday his head was saying he should probably leave but his heart was saying not so sure. His heart got on board after Sunday. He made that decision Sunday night and informed Ole Miss Monday morning.
