RE: WNIT
Cool news - I would think hosting Houston would be a logical possibility.

RE: WNIT
UAB got the conference automatic bid. Like the men, only one C-USA team made the NCAAs. Louisiana Tech and MTSU also make this tournament.

Outstanding!
We seem to be making significant progress in WBB every season since Langley arrived.

Thought you were going to the CBI.03-lmfao

If it is a UH vs Rice it most likely will be at Tudor. Thursday night TSU ladies are hosting Weber State in the first round of the WBI.

RE: WNIT
We host Texas State on Thursday (assuming it's 7 pm). Winner plays New Mexico-Saint Mary's winner (and that's likely to be a road game if UNM wins at home in that game). I'm not speaking with any inside knowledge on that latter point - it's just UNM averages 5000 people a game for its home games so them hosting would be a much bigger payout for the NIT.

Houston is at South Dakota (!). Lamar is at TCU, and Missouri State is at Louisiana Tech also in our bracket.

RE: WNIT
Only downside is that this might be the only home game of the tournament and it's over spring break. Can't expect many students whatsoever, which is too bad. Would've been great for the players to have some serious support for once; the showings in the WBI (especially later rounds) were pretty decent

Is this where us old timers get to yell that we never got a spring recess, spring break....03-lmfao

I think I can convince my daughter to go to Rice if I tell her that apparently there are only 3 or 4 days of actual school each semester and the rest of it is some sort of break.

Well, we had a spring break, but we had to walk to it, in the snow, uphill.

Seriously, we went skiing in Colorado.
