Yes but there was an internal problem going on last year that led to the implosion. They were 18-7 and being discussed for the NCAA tournament before whatever it was happened.
This team was 14-11 and then went on a little run against just **** teams sans Houston. I think we can all see now that the problem was Tubby at least as much as it was Lawson.
Saul should not be taking up space on a D1 staff.
If Tubby hadn't been so stubborn it might have all turned out much, much differently.
Tubby didn't handle his business.
That last part, like much of the rest, is your opinion. Regardless, wouldn't you have to say he handled it better this year when we won 7 of the last 9 instead of losing 7 of the last 9? To me, it's either that, or we had better players.

There were no chiefs here in Orlando , pretty sad

The 2 losses to ECU and USF said all that needed said.

So, your opinion is that the reason we went 7-2 to close out this year vs 2-7 to close out last year is because we played USF twice and ECU once this year as opposed to playing UCF twice and Temple once last year? All the rest of the teams were the same. Our two wins last year were Tulane and Tulsa, and our two losses this year were USF and #8 Cincinnati in the conference semifinals. I don't think there's much doubt we did better this year, but that's my opinion.

No I think the reason we finished better this year was primarily team chemistry and a little bit schedule.

The reason we finished better this year is because this years team didn't quit. Last year, they had all packed it in. Blame the Lawson's, blame the players, blame the coach, blame us, but, its the coach's job.

Yep, plain and simple -- they quit. Had nothing to do with schedule, tired legs or anything else. And I think there was plenty of blame to go around. I was glad to get rid of that drama, but it looks like it's reared its ugly head again.
