Like it or not the guy does a good job getting players to improve...

He is just too stubborn to be willing to start recruiting better players so he would have a higher floor to start with.

I don't think his method works on the talented players.
He knows this by now, which is why he doesn't really want them on the team.

Rivers went down at least once every game. Tubby got tired of walking out there...

To be fair, Wolo said they were up against time limits due to tourney limitations. They had to get to the airplane for the flight home. They could not wait for Tubby to complete his TV obligations.
