That is because Goodman and his media brethren are trying to show they can put enough pressure on an administration to control their hire. This is getting in his way.

I want to comment on the bolded portion.

I agree that they don't understand.

The reason why they don't understand is because they are being led by people who are opposed to the Memphis fan base.

They listen to what they say and see what they put out in social media.

How can you be upset with Malik Rhodes for posting #freelik when Joe Esposito openly calls the fan base haters on the same social platform.

I get it when you play it's us against the world but you are a dick of a coach if you play it's us against the fan base which has been done on several occasions.
