Is that a PR for him in the 60?

He has one more attempt in the shot put. So far, only 40' 2" which is 4 feet shorter than at conference.

Whew - Scott just had a THIRD attempt clearance at 1.96 meters (6' 5") in the high jump.

At conference, he cleared 2 meters (6' 6¾").

WRC, which are his best events, and is he doing better than anticipated?

RE: Scott Filip at NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships
His best open event is the long jump, so he is a little behind pace. He's good in the 60 meter hurdles, but you can't really make up too many points on the field in that. The key is event 6 - the dreaded pole vault.

Two misses at 1.99 meters (6' 6¼"). Not clearing here would hurt.

I'm not at the meet, so I'm relying on the results page, and it is not operating well, at all. So, I'm trying to find out.

I know you can't look at results and draw out conclusions based on the times but I do wonder if Hannah Jackson might have had a real chance to qualify for the finals of the 200 based on the qualifying times today.

http://i.turner.ncaa.com/sites/default/f...mpiled.htm

I also have to wonder why they put weather information on the results of an indoor track meet.

Depends on the lane, to a degree, even though there were some great performances today from lanes 3 and 4 (5 and 6 are the preferred lanes, but lane assignments are random for prelims).

Yeah I saw that about the weather. Too funny.

It is at Texas A&M you know. Perhaps they're concerned about a rain-out.
