RE: Kent State vs. Buffalo (MAC Semis)
By March 11th, most players on most teams are tired of it all. The biggest exception, of course, is the NCAA tournament teams. The most burned out are the teams that had disappointing seasons

RE: Kent State vs. Buffalo (MAC Semis)
Quick comment about all time records. Walker is 45 threes shy of the school record held by Holt and 600 points shy of Huffman's all time scoring record. Barring injury he'll blow past the three record and he has an outside chance at becoming the first Kent player to hit 300 threes. The scoring record will be tougher but is attainable. Say he plays 33 games next year he would need to average 18.2 ppg to get there. It's unfortunate for him that he missed 15 games over his career. Otherwise he could probably coast to the scoring record.
Looking further out Pippen's late season shot blocking binge has him at 71 for his career. Edwards holds the record at 179. Pippen had 53 this year alone. Edwards was at 57 through his first two years. If Pippen just repeats this year's numbers in each of his last two seasons he would finish at 177. So it's not a stretch that he could get there especially if he takes the step to becoming an all-mac performer next year like most of us think he can.
I think we'll start seeing a lot of records fall in coming years as guys start finishing their careers that started after the shot clock was changed to 30 but it's still fun to watch.

I think best case scenario for all is JW avgs. around 15 ppg, ... but Kent play in 4-5 more games and everything falls into place for player-team and fans.
