Not matter how poor the fit is/was between the TS regime and the Tiger basketball program, I really hope the players rally a bit a pull off a win or two before taking a loss. Gotta love the fight this year's under-talented group of young men have displayed for the most part.

Well. After taxes and paying his agent it’s probably more like 5 mil. Chump change.

IMO, a deal has already been struck with Tubby. Before all this came out in full force yesterday. I think somebody on the inside leaked info to some in the press, knowing they'd run with it. A fairly well orchestrated situation. That's just my opinion.

If a change wasn't imminent, there's no way the administration would allow this uproar to go on without someone going to the press and smashing it in some way.
And I don't think any of this would have gotten out the way it did without ALL PARTIES, including Tubby, knowing.

And maybe Tubby and his wife are miserable in Memphis due to lack of success and the pressure/heat from our fan base and he wants out in some capacity.

I could see that scenario playing out where he possibly agrees to take a little less than the full buyout but there is noway he is stepping down and leaving all that money on the table.

id say there is very little chance that Tubbys agent hasnt been in talks with Georgia for a return back there..only problem is does he take myreon with him

I think the "leak" suggesting he will be fired was a public reminder to Tubby to find another job and accept the deal that I am sure they have offered him to leave.

Tubby is a bully.

I never feel sorry for the bully when they get buillied back.

Hopefully we'll perform much better this time around than last season's 40 point beat down to UCF. It was obvious that team quit on the coach. I think this team might rally around him.

Tank or not...how will we know the difference.
