I watched a good bit of second half of W&M and Charleston last night. Charleston is a very impressive team and that was a well-played game, highlighting the quality of the league. NE then proceeded to demolish UNCW. Both Charleston and NE appear capable of winning a game or two in the NCAAs. Too bad only one will make it. Next season looks like a bright one for the league, with so many returning players. Believe league was 12th nationally this season with respect to RPI.

I'll go with Charleston tonight, but it seems like a toss-up.

looked decent. Quality broadcast with halftime analysis and the announcers were commenting on high level play.

The crowd for the 2nd semifinal between Northeastern and UNCW was terrible.

Northeastern has a 5 pt lead with 40 seconds to go and fouled CofC on a 3 pt attempt. CofC made all 3 FT's and then NU had a turnover and CofC tied the score with 10 seconds left. NU turned the ball over again but CofC missed a 3 point shot. Heading to OT tied at 65-65.

What a great comeback by CoC to get to OT. It was aided by a bad referee call while Northeastern had the ball and the lead and 20 seconds left. A little home cooking in the low country

Is the call you are referencing to one of the 3 point shot?

1:13 to go CofC up 77-73 heading to the FT line. Make both up 79-73.

NU hits a 3 and CofC turns the ball over. 79-76 Cof C with 41 seconds to go. And NU proceeds to turn the ball over.

Cof C hits 2 FTs up 81-76. Nu misses a 3 and then fouls CofC. 2 FTs are made 83-76 20 seconds to go.

NU misses a 3 and CofC gets the boards and the game ends.

Final 83-76 CofC.

Looks like NU had the game but let it get away in the last 40 seconds of regulation.

No. The ref called a travel on Pusyca when he passed the ball out of a trap. CoC was in a position where they had to foul or NE could run out the last 20 seconds. He passes the ball then moved his foot and the ref was screened by the trappers. The ref mistakenly called a travel allowing CoC to get the ball back and tie on a Chealey drive

Coen will be pissed in the presser. The ref took a CAA title from his team.

That travel call was beyond atrocious. Coen and NU AD Konya will be hot post game.

Congratulations College of Charleston! One team having home court advantage in the "conference tournament " when all other schools are hundreds of miles away is complete bull****. The CAA sucks.
