This is great news! While I personally think that all universities should be for-profit (since that is what they really are even if we call them non-profits), there is a negative stigma placed on for-profits that is hard for GCU to overcome. Moving back to non-profit will avoid much of that negativity.

Finally. As a student and alum, I’m glad it’s finally about ready to be put to bed. It’s easy to know nothing about the school and assume it’s ITT Tech with a basketball team. Going to campus and actually completing research there and seeing first hand the rigorous AQR standards for post grad work proves otherwise.
