I think they got it right. I saw GS play everyone this year in person except App Coastal and ULM and Simonds was the best player I saw with Washington at Louisiana a close 2nd

I would have chosen Barkley over Washington as the Cajuns top threat to Simmonds as POY but I don't have an issue with Simmonds. I would have thought the defensive POY and newcomer POY who averaged 15+ points, 6+ rebounds, and led the conference in FG% might have been second team rather than third team.

The only other GS player who deserved consideration besides Brown probably was Glenn. I thought he might get 3rd team.

I hope all the players on the A-stAte team get a ribbon or participation trophy, otherwise, no one will ever know that we had a basketball team in the 2017-18 season.

Simonds might not be around next year with a strong tournament run.

I wouldn't complain... I still remember that game in Atlanta where we played an amazing game and Simmonds single handedly won it for you.

i'm pretty sure he will stay for another year. Simonds will get to play with the 4 star transfer from Pitt (Damon Wilson) and the 4 star recruit (Nelson Phillips) who plays like a grown man already. Kane Williams will handle the PG responsibilities. Scary thought...next year, Simonds will be allowed to be a pure shooting guard, which will allow him to focus on getting to the basket!
