I have NO idea who will win the final game of the regular season. It comes after a huge, emotional win Tuesday and before the MAC tourney.
Very possible one team may lay an egg tonight in Toledo.

If we play at the same intensity on the road against Toledo that we did at home, plus Minnie is able to play at full strength, we will win this game. If we win this game, we will play Buffalo for the Championship next week.

I like the scenario:
Beat WMU or Kent (presumably one of those two), Beat TOL and advance to play UB.

I'm a little worried about this as well. We could come out flat and get spanked tonight. Toledo is a good team playing in their last home game, who probably wants revenge for the first meeting where we ran them off the court in the 2nd half.
Or it could go the other way, in our favor. I definitely wouldn't bet on this game, though.

Agree. And it might sound apostasy, but other than finishing 4th and ending up on the UB bracket for the semis, I usually don't mind losing the last game of the season (it is almost a superstition not to go into the tourney on a long, e.g., 6 game, win streak.).
If we have a clunker, I'd rather have it tonight. Tuesday was must win. Next Thursday is MUST win (or go home). Friday is nice to win...

From my perspective, the only way to salvage this season is for EamU to play in the title game. EMU has more talent than any MAC school excluding Buffalo who are comparable to us.

I consider making the semi-finals a success for any season.
I don't consider that every competitor has to earn the gold or silver medal to be successful.
To me, top third, is usually a success be in the MAC or MLB or NFL, etc.

Interesting. No MAC writer pre-season voted for EMU to win the MAC tourney.
http://emueagles.com/news/2017/10/26/men...ath=mbball
According to this there are say 3 story lines:
1). WMU has under-achieved significantly. They got the most pre-season votes and votes to win the MAC tourney.
2). TOL and EMU over-achieved measured against pre-season expectations.
3). Ohio and Akron under-achieved. There were injury problems here.

CBSSN. The game was moved a few weeks ago.
Horrible pregame discussion. Spent 2.5 minutes talking about Toledo, then spent 15 secs introducing James Thompson no mention of anyone else on EMU.

CBSSN is the Division 2 of sports networks, they buy the MACtion games that ESPN doesn't want and their personnel and broadcasting quality are reflective of that. As bad as they may suck, I still am glad that they are around to televise the game.

I'm guessing that Murphy repeats the move he made at Western. He sat Ellison and McAdoo and brought in Nobles. The length might hurt Navigato's 3 ball shooting.
