Need to find some stability on the mound. Like I said.....if we have guys outside of Sandlin who can maintain a 5.00 ERA we will be tough to beat. But we can't continually have these total implosions on the mound from our starting pitchers and expect to survive by scoring 10 runs a game. It isn't sustainable.

Opening weekend was encouraging but the starting pitching has been awful since then.

We are 6-2 and scored 9 and 11 runs in our losses, respectively. With an average staff we are 8-0 with 8 comfortable wins. The whole staff should be should be eager to prove that they can be "a guy" who the coaches can count on for quality starts......the question is who will rise to the top?

We'll see. But right now "serviceable" would be an upgrade on Sundays and midweek.
