Grant Riller has made only 46 3-pointers this year? Seems like he made that many just against us!

Im not sure the other side of the bracket is better. UNCW might be a bit tougher in a playoff scenario and is likely to have a strong fan presence on the weekend game.

He is a streaky outside shooter. In the game Saturday, he did not have a confident outside shot. He was only 50% from the FT line, and watching him in warmups he was missing everything. Reminded me of Omar. Scouting report should be play off him and give him the arc until he shows he's on that night, and focus on taking away his penetration.

Here's a comparison between Riller and Charles Jenkins's senior season in 2010-2011:

Field goal percentage: Riller .554, Jenkins .517
Three-point field goal percentage: Jenkins .420, Riller .404
Percent of field goal attempts that are threes: Jenkins 32.6%, Riller 31.4%

No, but I think it is in the Tribe in Charleston thread that is down below currently on this page. I know lower level Tribe office tickets were Sec 134.

A Charleston fan told me after the game last Saturday afternoon that COC had sold 7,000 tickets for the tournament. Sort of scary if that is true, and sort of surprising given that they do not come close to drawing that many people to their home games. I still think that one of the reasons that the CAA changed its way of allocating tickets to schools ( seating based on seeding as of games played thru the mid week games of the next to last week of the season) was to give Charleston fans a chance to buy up the best seats before they went on sale to the general public, no matter where they wound up in the standings.

I guess I can look forward to being surrounded by COC fans then. My small group is in Sec 136. Someone here also posted about students also getting free tickets from Charleston. Other than in 2015, we have always been significantly outnumbered at the tournament. Baltimore that year was Kaplan North. Attendance for the title game that year was roughly 5000. 4950 of them were rooting for the Tribe. Not worried about it, last year there were a ton of UNCW fans. They rooted hard, but they were very reasonable and pro-UNCW, not really anti-W&M. Was hoping for a UNCW/COC quarterfinal before UNCW won last week because that would have been super intense. Those students, fans and teams do not like or respect each other right now.

I would imagine a chunk of that 7000 Charleston ticket purchases was their student tickets they are giving away for free. Anybody know if the CAA offered a special rate to all schools for student tics? Imagine the league is hoping they get a big CofC student turnout to enhance the crowd appearance.

OK, correction, I did briefly forget that 2016(the last minute loss to Hofstra in the semis) was the last Baltimore year(I attended in 2015, but could not attend in 2016). There were more Tribe fans the last 2 years in Baltimore than any other team(even though UNCW won the tournament in 16). But, I was there last year in Charleston. We had a lot of fans, but no where near what UNCW and Charleston had. UNCW actually had the most by far. We did have the 3rd most fans last year which is great considering how far we all travel. We might have even more this year. None of the years the tourney was in Richmond did we have the most fans and I attended not every single year, but many of those. No question that Baltimore overall was more pro-Tribe than even Towson or Delaware for the 3 years it was held there.

I would be shocked if they have sold 7000 tickets. Since students get in free by showing a student ID those numbers would mean that the Tournament would be close to a sellout if you include other ticket team sales.

I would believe 700 before 7000. I know W&M sold 150 books.

Uncw sold 180 books
