Have to win their next 3 games, which includes the first round of the AAC tourney. Anything short of that leaves the AAC with just 3 teams.

Amazing playing RPI busters USF and ECU (no offense intended) didn't lower their SOS further than 9th, which can help in the long run. Big OOC wins over Clemson and Auburn help too. Their resume has some glaring weaknesses too.

Yeah, those are my thoughts, that would put them at 19-13 with a pretty high RPI.

For sure, win out until if not obviously winning the AAC final. For a chance, at least make the semifinals. It looks like it's stacking up for them to play Houston, so unless UH wins the next two games, I don't like that scenario.

Not sure they have to beat Houston. 19 wins may very well put them in the First Four.

finishing 7th rather than 6th would actually benefit temple..theyd play temple a top 170 rpi tulane in the first round (instead of 300 rpi ecu) and would them match up with wsu in the next round who they seem to play great against

there are no good situations in which temple stays 7th

If somehow ECU beats Tulsa and then Tulsa loses to Temple, then Temple might make 5th and play Memphis??

Yeah really need Tulsa to lose.....but I have no faith in ECU.

They have to wait until next season.

One way to have no doubt, win the AAC tournament. Temple is capable of winning the tournament. History is just not on Temple's or the AAC side of being chosen over a bigger name team or power conference teams. Not saying it is right or fair, but how many times has the AAC been in the last four out the past few years. Look at ESPN's last four in and 8 teams left out going into the last week. I don't see Temple jumping all these teams.

It would be close, either way.

That loss at home to Houston was so bad, I think they will need a win over Houston in the tournament (in addition to closing out the regular season with wins) in order to wash the taste out of the committee’s mouth.

Put me in the camp of four more wins. Right now most sites don’t even have them in the “next four out” category, and the committee isn’t going to do the AAC any favors.
