I noticed the dude from ESPN confused Raynere with Mike Parks, Jr at least once. Credited our 270-pound PF with one of Thornton's three pointers.

VERY optimistic about Raynere! Very happy that he chose Memphis...Actually felt that because of his size and skillset...he was a player that could play at the next level...barring that he continued to develop and put the work in...Waiting to see that above the rim ability that he has as well....Need to see him go to the rim, with Authority

Thorton is very clumbsy right now when he gets hit...Hopefully he learns how to work through contact. That wont matter if he keeps shooting the 3 well...

Nickelberry has the same issue because as soon as you touch Nick he is done.

The UCF game is what really sticks out to me...He had one of his most productive games against WSU to come back and play 1 minute against UCF.

He must have done something to piss Tubby off.'

And looking at those stats it still blows my mind that we are allowing teams to shoot 38% from the 3 on us.

Both of those guys are like Superman compared to Rivers who can get knocked down from the wind generated by a swished shot. He falls to the floor in a heap at least once a game (sometimes 2-3) with his hands over his head as if further contact is coming and lays there for 30 seconds or so and then bounces up ready to go. Every team has a wimp but Rivers act is second to none, I used to think it was to buy a timeout.
