Erica not starting...? A bit concerning

Yep, she's in street clothes. Which means this starting 5 might have to play 180 minutes.

9-7 UTSA in the first. I don't know if Erica is hurt, but if she is, this might be the unluckiest team I've ever seen.

20-9 at the end of the 1st. This game might get ugly. The lack of bodies is forcing us to play zone which is significantly worse than our man defense. We also aren't hitting shots, which doesn't help.

30-23 UTSA in the 2nd. Definitely some defensive struggles.

Kind of beside the point, but why don't Rice athletic accounts on social media ever give injury updates? It takes little to no effort to find out if Erica is injured or what Austin's injury was, etc. Almost every other college basketball twitter account does it.

Okay, I'm admittedly not very read up on HIPAA, but every time I watch a Louisiana Tech game their Twitter account tells me who's not playing because of injury. Ton of others do too...?

Stanton took an absolute shot from a rather large girl at the 6-minute mark and is headed back to the locker room, which means we have 7 healthy players now. 36-30 UTSA midway through the 3rd.

Mini run gives UTSA a 9-point lead. Nicole has been problematically hit or miss this year. Not having a good game

UTSA leads by 11 at the end of the third. Been a miserable day for almost everybody. Shots not falling. UTSA is breaking us down defensively with really simple actions on offense.

If we can just force OT, maybe UTSAs starters will foul out.

HIPAA has absolutely nothing to do with it. Nobody is asking for medical specifics, merely a active/inactive and high level details if injury related or not.

Unless HIPAA applies only to Rice? Must be.
