GS wins 89-83

Last year, Troy shot 63% on 3s against us in the tournament game. In this game we returned the favor by going 62% from 3 with Jake Allsmiller going 8-11 on threes, and Tookie Brown made a ridiculous three that he threw like he was holding a shotput.

So barring error on my part I have:
1 - Louisiana
2 - Georgia State
3 - Georgia Southern
4 - UTA
5 - App (vs 12)
6 - ULM (vs 11)
7 - Troy (vs 10)
8 - Coastal (vs 9)
9 - TXST
10 - USA
11 - Arkansas St
12 - Little Rock

We can’t beat Arkansas St. in anything. I actually like you guys, but hate you due to that fact.

Eh, no biggie. You'll beat us on Wednesday in New Orleans. Unless somehow today deflated you guys to the point that you have decided winning is impossible.

the final standing actually came pretty close to my expectations of each team in terms of talent

I'd prefer App and ULM switch places as well.

The Carolina teams played the Georgia teams only once and the Louisiana teams once. That was a huge break in the schedule for them and probably helped App get the #5 seed.

Crazy result which I still find hard to believe. And our best shooter was back in Little Rock with a concussion (i.e. his stats don't look great since he has battled injuries all season long, but he is our best outside shooter).

I do actually like the way the bracket plays out for us.

Personally, I'm not too crazy about the way the bracket plays out for us . . . should we get by Coastal, we then (probably) get whacked by UL . . .

. . . of course, we have no one to blame for this course of events but ourselves.
