Radio broadcast?
If Basketball and hockey are being played on the same night - like tonight - basketball always seems to be on the Z96.5 station. Is the hockey broadcast on another station?

I just think they don't broadcast hockey on those nights. Only broadcast for NCHC.tv or something.

RE: Radio broadcast?
I'll ignore the debacle at Lawson tonight.
Why can't WMU ice hockey stream games for free? It's not that costly anymore.

Radio broadcast?
I will be more than happy to explain... when hockey and basketball air at (or close to) the same time, basketball stays on 96.5 for network purposes, as 96.1 Grand Rapids and 1130 Detroit air the relay of 96.5. That pushes hockey to 590. As far as streaming goes, both games were streamed last night... for free, as usual. In fact, the only game that was not streamed recently (last two years) was the 2017 Cotton Bowl. FYI:
96.5 - z965fm.com
590/106.9 - wkzo.com
And for the women’s games (which usually air on 1660 but could be moved to 590 if needed) - 1660thefan.com
Hockey is available for viewing on nchc.tv for a premium, and it features the home team’s call of the game. Radio streams directly from the source (WZOX, WKZO) are always free.
I hope this helps. I also hope our goaltending shows up tonight.
