PICK IT UP
The Hofstra game is over. Shake it off! Forget it! Move on - the door is still wide open for the opportunity to win the tournament. Let's do it! No one wants you to win more than I do! You need to have that attitude too!

RE: PICK IT UP
Some major schlitz about to go down to the royalty of D1 College Hoops... https://sports.yahoo.com/exclusive-feder...38484.html

The documents tie some of the biggest names and programs in the sport to activity that appears to violate the NCAA’s amateurism rules. This could end up casting a pall over the NCAA tournament because of eligibility issues. There’s potential impermissible benefits and preferential treatment for players and families of players at Duke, North Carolina, Texas, Kentucky, Michigan State, USC, Alabama and a host of other schools. The documents link some of the sport’s biggest current stars – Michigan State’s Miles Bridges, Alabama’s Collin Sexton and Duke’s Wendell Carter – to specific potential extra benefits for either the athletes or their family members. The amounts tied to players in the case range from basic meals to tens of thousands of dollars.

NCAA president Mark Emmert released a statement Friday morning to address the latest developments in the corruption probe.

“These allegations, if true, point to systematic failures that must be fixed and fixed now if we want college sports in America. Simply put, people who engage in this kind of behavior have no place in college sports. They are an affront to all those who play by the rules,” the statement read.

The result of all this investigation simply means that Eastern Wyoming Technical College's Transvestite Tennis Team will be placed on 3 years probation and stripped of their 2 wins they had over the last 5 seasons (both over Richmond of course). 04-cheers

The NCAA is a bunch of pansies. The big schools walk all over them. The whole UNC thing is such a whitewash.

Back to Hofstra.

Every now and then a team can lay a complete egg. Hofstra was that game. Glad they got it out of their system and liked the fight they had even while getting blasted.
related...was that T on Lewis for him yelling "and one" while shooting and then putting the ball in the Hofstra guys chest? I though I heard the courtside mic pic that up but I might have been mistaken.

Re the FBI investigation, I am just waiting for the myriad versions of "I did not know what was going on" we are going to be hearing from many players, coaches and AD's. Should be interesting.

This is the first game in a long time where I felt that MBB was overmatched and truly outplayed. There have been stretches in the weeks leading to this game, but I figured a game like this was bound to happen. I actually felt like there would be more this season.

I agree, team went 12 games since the last bad one, which is pretty remarkable.
