RICE ATHLETICS VOLUNTEER TRAVELS FAR AND WIDE TO SUPPORT THE NEXT GENERATION
Nice article about one of our most significant contributors here (if not here, then on the old owlzone.com).

Rice Athletics volunteer Bob Schlanger ’73 travels far and wide to support the next generation | Rice Volunteer
Quote:“I believe in the mission of Rice, and I think Rice Athletics serve as an important window to the campus.” – Bob Schlanger ’73, Rice Athletics volunteer

There are certainly a number of other contributors here that should be profiled on this website...

Props to Bob - and by the way his reputation total on this site is shockingly low. That's something that others here can easily correct.

It might help if we actually understood what Bob's handle is. Many of us have never had the chance to meet him or put the real-world and Parliament-world identities together.

I don't want to dox him unnecessarily, but if he wants to self-identify, that's appreciated.

I gave him a bump. You are right, that is shockingly low. Don't know how to spread the word without doxing though.

He's Houston Owl - I don't think he'll mind me outing him. He doesn't post a ton here but when he does, it's usually quite good information.

I don't know how to give him more rep points than he already has, but I made the same comment when his rep points were single digits. To be honest, they aren't that important on this forum versus some of the other circuses on the internet, including this site...
