At 33, Vonn's Olympic career is now over and it would have been nice to see her race one final time. But she probably realized her teammates weren't good enough to get to the podium? If USA does finish 4th or 5th though, then I think her skipping the event is a valid point of contention.

Favored by the journalist that like to write an easy story about her. If you look at her track record at the Olympics she hasn't won many medals compared to world championships. Skiing is a young persons game and she isn't a spring chicken anymore.

She's like a 30 year old running back in the NFL

I do support the 2nd Amendment. In fact I've been admonished by conservatives on this board for saying ex-cons should be given 2A rights back after serving their time, so I guess I'm too big of a supporter of it.

I support America and the athletes in the olympics, just not lindsey vonn.
