I get tired of people questioning if Penny would put in the effort.

There's nothing anywhere in his past but dedication to excellence.

There's a hundred legitimate concerns, but that dog don't hunt.

Bowen, admit your mistake about the Tubby hire. You won’t be the first man to have made a mistake and everyone will respect you a whole lot more if you just swallow your pride. A man who never changes his mind, never changes anything.

If he bleeds Tiger blue, how is it none of his HS kids or AAU kids are committed to Memphis?

Lomax LIVES with Penny. You can't tell me Penny's influence over Lomax couldn't have resulted in his coming to Memphis. AND Tubby even tried hard to get Lomax.

If you think about it for a bit, his plan makes sense.

This is a dirty little secret that many here know, but don't talk about. Of course Penny bleeds Tiger blue and of course there is no way he wants Lomax or anyone else to have anything to do with Tubby. He has to put the kids' well being above his love of Memphis.

Look at it this way. You have a cousin that is a financial advisor, great guy, gets along with everyone in the family. You know from personal experience and from family and friends, that he is a horrible financial advisor who has lost you and everyone else money on their investments.

You love the guy, but would you refer anyone to him? Of course not.
