shocked that it took 37 posts to mention that
Louisville seems MEH about the vacation from what I read. They don't really care if it's "vacated" because they saw their team win the championship and had a parade.
I suppose we would feel the same about it if Memphis had won. The Chalmers shot really hurt at the time and I will never forget it. I would much rather see Memphis win the Championship regardless of the season being vacated years later.

They come out better than we did because NO PROBATION. It's not fair and equitable especially considering the offenses. DeCourcey is rightfully furious-article below. We got s*** on.

The cash envelope was a setup. And really, look at those allegations and think about UNC and Louisville today. Those incidences wouldnt be a drop of water in the bucket today.
You should check in with your doctor. There are many new medications out that will help you with your delusions.

You are correct. Boosters for KY perfected the set-up and transfer of funds to off shore accounts for their recruits.

The NCAA ordered UK to cancel the 1952-53 season, the trio pleaded guilty to accepting $1,500 in bribes for gamblers, and a fourth player, Bill Spivey, was charged with perjury because he refused to testify against his teammates.
This is false. As I said, you need to dig deeper. It was a crime that Alex Groza was blackballed from basketball.
Our of all the blue bloods, UK is by far the cleanest. UCLA, UNC, Duke, Kansas (lol) have way more corruption in their programs.
But none of that matters anymore. We share a rival that we both know is a total POS and bastion of corruption. UK isn't in trouble for anything at all. It's irrelevant to the conversation.
Prostitution for underage recruits, players, and parents.
Money used for escorts were from the coaching staff and university funds.
A brothel on campus for players
Institutional fraud at the highest level
Mob like environment from Tom Jurich
Repeated lies to the ACC about current positioning
Rick Pitino's indiscretions.
Arranged marriages for coverups
Next goes before the board for an FBI scandal that includes Coach 2 (Pitino) arranging 100,000 dollars to a recruit (Bowern)
I could literally keep going.
but that 1,000 dollar cash payment sure is something.
Why do you think Pitino was any different at KY?

Although I enjoy watching Louisville squirm, vacated results unfairly target fans and players with no culpability.

Hard to get excited about the NCAA's actions.
Inconsistent and hypocritical at best.

They either grew balls or was it they had the FBI squeezing theirs? They (NCAA) are the regulators and overseers. They have failed in many regards.

I think the NCAA has all but admitted that the 'scandalous nature' of Louisville's infractions led to this decision.

Which is to say, yeah I think it's about to get a lot worse for both Louisville and everyone else in the FBI investigation.

I dunno. They didn’t slam Penn State very hard.
That was the most scandalous stuff I ever heard

Their words, not mine.
It's easy to get outraged over blowjobs and hookers in basketball and nuke them to orbit than it is about child abuse in Paterno's Penn State.
