Speaking of, are we going to have any trouble from Clemson next year in recruiting?

I think we have to win 7 games including CU to continue to win over players. Lou and company have built solid connections with the HS coaches but we have to start producing to keep the pipeline open. If we have another bad year look for other high profile teams to raid the state of the top talent.

Exactly, Jay. This season is critical for the very reasons you mention. Looking at the preseason mags, it looks as if this year's HS talent in SC will be really, really stocked.

I think we can win 6 games..........but one of those HAS to be over Clemson and we HAVE to get to a bowl. Anything less, and you could be right......we may see our luck run out in the recruiting wars.

I don't think we will get 6 wins. We might get 4 or 5 if we play decent, IMO. :(

The talent is this state this year is unreal!! Raptor I hope you are wrong but I fear you are correct :frown: This is Lou's make or brake year imo. If he can suprise us with 7 or 8 wins then lookout!! If we go 5 wins then Holtz could be in trouble.

I think I am wrong - I usually am (I predicted 6 or 7 wins last year, btw)
