Houston debuts in the AP basketball poll at No. 23. Another ranked team will be coming to FedExForum on Thursday night.

First time Houston in AP since 2005. Good for our league.

Great news for the conference now with 3 Top 25 teams (1st time?) and that doesnt even include UConn & Memphis which are historically strong program. AAC checking in at 11, 13, 23. Nick King & MTSU at #24, the Blue Raiders first AP ranking EVER.

No, not the first time. I believe that in the 2013-2014 season Louisville, UConn, Memphis, Cincy, and SMU were all ranked in the top 25 for one week. So even excluding Louisville, we had 4. I suspect during that season we had at least 3 ranked most of the year, maybe more.

^^^THIS^^^ Pissed me off when Tubby would not consider him. My biggest complaint with Tubby is his insistence on making this a slow rebuild - HIS way. He simply has no urgency and will pocket $15M, no matter the path.
