Tribe Men's Swimming Wins CAA Crown Again
Congrats to the W&M Men's Swim Team who last night won their fourth consecutive CAA Championship and to coach Matt Crispino '02, who was named CAA Coach of the Year for a 5th straight season.
The team (and the women's team who finished second) achieve great success with poor facilities, little scholarship help, and, remarkably,
starting every meet far behind because we have no diving facilities and no divers due to this..thus forfeiting all the diving points before our meets even start!
The women lost yesterday because JMU, who won, piled up more than 73 diving points, the number of points by which we lost the meet.
Obviously a modern swim facility probably runs just behind a Basketball
Facility in future building.

It's criminal that we don't have a deep end with a diving board. I can walk from my house to several high dives.

I wonder will the proposed natatorium they plan be part of the practice facility for Vball/Bball?
Alternatively, I believe Adair is to be renovated. Possible pool expansion?
