I'm glad we won. Glad for the players and the fans. I personally feel and agree with Tubby that he is not the right man for the job but I could never pull for the Tigers not to win.

I think it is about time we acknowledge that Tubby can coach. He had taken a group of kids who never played together, hidden many of their defects (see the zone) and made them competitive. I think we can beat any team in the AAC except UC and WSU. We are not at the level yet, but if he plays a better schedule next year which helps our RPI we could be in the conversation for a bid to either the NCAA or NIT. Recruiting is still a concern but he is coaching them up.
Let's win the rest of our games and a couple in the tourney.

This is a team that can win 3 of their last 4 and finish the regular season with 19 wins. If they can pick up a couple in the tournament and end up 21-13, then Tubby would have something to sell and build upon.

Funny thing is you guys sure would criticize if we lost. But yet can't complement when we win.

I NEVER criticize a road win, unless someone gets injured. Otherwise, a win is a win and we have no control over the size of the crowd or anything like that. Tubby can coach, no doubt. But can he recruit is the question.

I honestly think we are a big time 3 point shooter away from having a good squad. Vanover will be a bit of a shot blocker inside and might be able to open it up with his shot........Thornton, Davenport, Brewton, Jerimiah make for a good nucleus next year....give us a deadly 3 point shooter to go with them (sorry Jamal).
