trying to figure out what the tourney outlook might be for the tourney next year

just from twitter half the AAC is targeting 6'3 guard wendell mitchell (memphis wichita smu cincy) who seems to be the best realistic target for most aac at this point
he is a juco (former 4/3star from baylor) the only reason he's still available is no one expected him to be as good as he has been (25pt per, on #3 juco)

side note: smu and wichita recently offered him, both are out of schollys... milton and shamet might be gone

We always seem to have at least one transfer too. I doubt it is too unusual for a coach to over recruit a little. GGG says something like never stopping shaving or recruiting.

1 to give although johnny dawkins has said in the past he'd pay aubrey's tuition to get an extra, so maybe 2. Would expect dawkins works the transfer market, grad transfer power forward would be ideal.

With

tacko has to come back unless he wants to turn pro in europe. he would be food in the nba.

Agreed, he's also expressed his desire to graduate and pursue a career in engineering after basketball since the day he arrived on campus. He's a great student. If he didn't go last year, I don't see him leaving with one year left.

Because there won’t be much turnover at the 1 and 2 position. Shamet and Reaves are probably gonna be playing 35 mins+ in March and I expect both of them to be back next year. Lomax is going to be expected to be able to play in spurts, at least for as long as SHJ has filled in for lately and he will hopefully be able to match Frankamp’s minutes by the end of the year. There will be some PT available at the 3 but there’s been PT available there this year and Keyser never took it.

Tulsa has 1 scholarship currently open. We have 3 JUCO's signed and are looking at the possible addition of another JUCO big man. We have several offers out to JUCO bigs at the moment. If we have more attrition, or one of our signees doesn't see campus that might change.

We need a couple of receivers. After losing Sutton and probably Quinn to the draft we will need some help here and....,

Doesn't matter for UCONN. As long as Ollie is Head Coach, their talents are sure to be wasted.

It’s always been reported as mutual but I think anyone who isn’t naive knows that the players aren’t given much of a choice. I do think the staff does their best to make sure the player lands at a program that is a much better fit for them. I think every player we’ve had transfer since 2012 or so has turned into a decent player at their new school.

uconn is interesting every single key player returns ..espn 100 alterique returns from injury, 4star sid wilson becomes eligible, you add another espn 100...and still have 2 schollys to give
