Bond has been HUGE down the stretch. Incredible block. Clutch free throws to make the lead 6.

IF we get out of here with a W, Bond deserves all the credit.

Yep. He has won the last two games. Totally clutch with his blocked shot vs. Miami on the shot which wins or loses the game.

SIX straight against CMU. Despite everything else this season that is something to be proud of.

Hard to believe CMU, with such a SUPERIOR coach, could collapse against Eastern... Weird.

Good win. I thought Jackson played much smarter and picked his spots to drive better. Also though McAdoo and Ellison played well.

RE: Game Day: @CMU
I thoroughly enjoyed this game. A real CMU / EMU game. Wish I had the stats but CMU played central ball all the way and we did what we should be doing just beating them up inside.

The CMU trey shooting % and our paint point should be both off the charts.

Exactly, Credit Bond with both wins thid week. Next year will be tough losing Thompson Bond. During the preseason, I brought up that Bond was the most important player on the team, but many people contradicted this saying Thompson was. Maybe, but Bond showed very clearly this week what I was talking about.

Agree.

I maybe 'Sunshine Steve' but I will be sad, very sad when Bond and Thompson leave the program.

I love watching the both of them play. We don't normally see this kind of talent in Ypsi.

WMU just lost at NIU, bringing them down to 7-7 with us and BGSU and Kent.

Believe it or not, we are one game behind 4th place. And with Miami losing we have a game of cushion plus a tiebreaker.

As much complaining as we have done against Murphy, Ialways thought he was better than Montgomery at N Illinois. Now I think I would add Keno to the list as well.

We all know Bob W’s opinion on Keno. But who was the one who used to come on this forum to criticize EMU for taking Murphy over Montgomery? Was that Bob too?

Frank, we are in a 4-way tie for 4th overall.

The irony, but I think you are right. Murphy may have been the one adjusting this game?

Murphy needs to make a deep run (finals) in the tournament. He's never done that. The time is now.

CLE is going to be fun for the conference. Other than staying off the UB and TOL lines, the rest of the MAC is parity city.

And TOL showed today they can lay a big fat egg, too.

Right, but BGSU and WMU have tiebreakers over us. So we remain in 6th with the tiebreaker over Kent.

Too early to start trying to figure out the tie breakers? Kent St looks like they can run the table on their remaining games. I would rank from easiest to toughest:

Kent St (@ Ohio, vs Bowling Green, vs Miami, @ Akron)
WMU (vs CMU, @ ball St, vs EMU, @ CMU)
Bowling Green (vs Akron, @ Kent St, @ Ohio, vs Buffalo)
EMU (vs Toledo, vs N Illinois, @ WMU, @ Toledo)

You never know though...

I would also add that Buffalo, Toledo, and Ball St leading the league seems pretty predictable ftp. The non conference results.

Didn't catch any of it, but I'm glad to hear McAdoo got some playing time. He's a scorer, and we are a team that struggles to score. I guess it made too much sense?

Anyway, I love that, next season, there will be no one on CMU's roster who has ever beat EMU. Pretty cool. Bob W must be proud of his awesome coach, who should be fired after the season.

To have any shot at getting a bid we pretty much have to beat Toledo at home on Tuesday.
