Not that we haven't all heard the rumors.

Pretty much spot on in my opinion.

Good luck with that. They caused quite a scene in Statesboro. One of them was arrested on stage, and they are the reason GS doesn't do spring concerts anymore.

I cringed when I saw this earlier today. Guess the folks at App didn't check their police records.

For some reason, I think what they got arrested for at Georgia Southern won't be as big of a deal in Boone.

Generally speaking, fans who would like to know, but can't for one reason or another, don't appreciate showboats. Either announce the information when you can, or say nothing about a deal being done. However I suspect you aren't quite modest enough for that.

If that is really what you think then your mind operates on an entirely different level than most people I know. As I said before, just be excited to know there's some great news coming, Stop getting caught up in your own little pitty party and most of all grow up. Besides, as someone who has financially supported the program 40 years I should be privy to more information than someone who doesn't belong to the Yosef Club or has never purchased season tickets.

Again, this is a mentality in which you aren't actually previewing anything. You simply say, "Big News Coming Right Up" but can't divulge information any further. Personally, I suspect the lack of detail provision and the small headlines likely are your Id screaming out for validation. Good ol' Boy clubs tend to operate in the manner you described above; being someone who isn't near 40 years of age, I find the comment about being privy simply for being senior to be a misleading justification.

My point is that either you should give up the information, or say nothing at all. You could easily say that something is in the works, which would be vague enough yet not scream "look at me, I have information about some big news that may or may not be announced this month, next month, or in 12 months; the deal may also fall through".

P.S. Movie trailers are not synonymous with what has been said. What is being said is similar to some actor, from a by gone series of movies, tweeting some cryptic message about a potential reunion.

Screaming our for validation & look at me? From some 20 something year old kid? Seriously?

With apologies to Jack Nicholson.
AppManDG: You want answers?
ericsaid: I think I'm entitled to them.
AppManDG: I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to someone who portrays himself as an expert on App State Athletics even though did not attend App State, does not purchase season tickets, or gives money to the Yosef Club. I would rather that you just be happy to get some inside information as to the good things coming and said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest you take out your wallet and start buying tickets and contributing the way I did 40 years ago. Either way, I don't give a D&%@ what you think you're entitled to!

Long story short, unfortunately you're just going to have to put up with it because there are others who actually understand why I can't say certain things and appreciate the heads up.
I'm surprised he didn't call you a Tar Hell lover liked he did me.

Him being an ECU grad I knew that wasn't likely. You on the other hand, was kind of hard to tell early on.

Really sends a positive image when an institution of higher learning schedules a bunch who's every third word is the "N" word their group name is a reference to the drug trade, where a "migos" is an abandoned house used for production or consumption of drugs.

I could be wrong, but did not the Doobie Brothers play in Boone in the 1970s? I was thinking some of the alumni a decade or so older than me have mentioned that before. Found it, May 5, 1973. You do know what the Doobie was referring to in their name I assume. http://www.doobfan.com/tour/tour_dates1.htm

Not to mention Willie Nelson, Phish, one fourth of Widespread being from Boone and playing frequently, Old Crow being discovered here, and countless others. It's never been a problem and I don't know why we're pretending to care now.

App schedules TX A&M in 2022
In other news...App State scheduled Texas A&M.

$1.5 million is a big big payday. I remember App getting (something like) $450,000 to play at Michigan in 2007. Tripled our take on these money games in 10 years.

Because they're rappers and everyone bitching about it is old enough to have gone to grade school with Billy Graham.

Is it hyperbole? Sure, but it's completely grounded in the posts I've read both here and on the Mmb.

I'm not a Migos fans but I'm not condemning them for having a rebellious style or subject matter like so many of your "distinguished generation" have.

You idiots need to keep arguments like this to MMB. Displaying all this for conference mates to see is embarrassing.

Whining and moaning and nippickshit... All about a concert and Yosef Club rumors.

I'd tell you to grow up, but as one has stated you all are old enough as is.

1. I like people getting me hyped by letting me kbow something is coming down the pipe, no problem with it

2. While High may have been a little militant and his timing may have been bad about Mr. Graham, he makes a fair point that nowadays music is treated like demonspawn from the generation that was told rocknroll was demonspawn so that seems a little silly.

3. This thread is about a pretty decent game added to the schedule with a good payout, and unless they follow the p5 trend of their program getting hot right when they play us, it is very winnable.

I'm 30 and I'm in the rap is crap fan club. Don't have a clue what the band is or what they rap about, but if it's in line with that genre, I'll choose to not listen.
And I'd do a much better job to refrain from negatives comments about Billy Graham. It just shows your ignorance.

I know you're younger than 30 because you think those fools are rappers. Hop on Napster and download some Jurrassic 5 or some stupid DOB. Better yet, listen to some MC Lars. Generic Crunk Rap could be re-written for you. You need a hug. Jesus loves you.
