Blazers beat rice tonight
Was a very entertaining game and was close throughout. We won 70-63. If you are a basketball purist, our ladies are a hell of a lot of fun to watch. They play hard and with a team spirit I haven’t seen in Bartow in a long time.

Also, Rice has a transfer that was sitting on the bench that is 6’9. By far the tallest woman I’ve ever seen in person, she looked 8 feet tall next to her teammates.

I agree. They are a lot of fun to watch. They play extremely hard on both offense and defense. They also shoot the ball really well. Kinda like watching a Warriors game.

And yes that one girl was literally head and shoulder taller than everyone else on the court.

RE: Blazers beat rice tonight
The play at 1:26 was so freaking impressive. We dove for a ball, and before it could go out of bounds, tapped/rolled it to another blazer, who, being tightly covered, dove for it, then while laid out on the ground, tapped it back to the person who initially dove on the floor to save the ball, who, instead of laying there watching the play, had hustled to get up to receive the return pass and start the fast break.

That's what winning basketball looks like.

Britney Griner who played for Baylor, was 6' 8" tall and strongly built. She dominated the paint for them. Does this player look like her?

No. Griner was a skilled athlete at her size. The girl from Rice looked like a giraffe on ice skates, it looked like she might fall over just walking lol.
